Mr. Frank Onasanya

Municipal Council Member

Frank Onasanya is a Human Resources Advisor with the Department of National Defence. His education includes a diploma in Business Management, certificate in Project Management, and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management. Born in Ibadan, western Nigeria, Mr. Onasanya emigrated to England in 1983, and to Canada in 1996. He has had a lifelong passion for soccer. In 2000, he moved to Kemptville and joined the Kemptville District Soccer Club, where he served as Head Coach and Technical Director for seven years before starting his own soccer training academy. He currently acts as learning facilitator for the Ontario Soccer Association and Head Coach for the Canadian Forces Women’s National Soccer Team. He is a member of the National Capital Region Visible Minority Group, a member of Isokan Yoruba of Ottawa (a Nigerian cultural group) and a part-time supply teacher for the Yoruba Language School. Mr. Onasanya was elected to North Grenville Council in October, 2014, and joined the KDH Board of Directors in January, 2015 as Municipal Council Member.
