KDH is currently looking to fill the following full-time position: Foundation Manager

You want to work at Kemptville District Hospital if you are committed to building healthier communities in one of the fasting growing areas in Ontario. Our Hospital has just doubled in size and our needs are growing.

This position reports to the Hospital's Chief Executive Officer and is accountable to the Foundation Board. This position requires demonstrated ability to:

• Lead the implementation of multi-faceted fundraising through a dedicated base of volunteers
• Manage donations
• Maintain a strong profile in the communities serviced by the Hospital
• Provide leadership and support throughout the process of change.

Successful candidates for this position should have the following:

• Established track record in the field of philanthropy with strength in major gifts and sponsorships
• Graduate of recognized Fundraising Management program or equivalent experience
• Experience in major fundraising activities/campaigns
• Experience working with volunteers
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

This is a demanding position that requires initiative, high energy and a clear focus enabling a team to get the job done.
