KDH is looking to hire Registered Nurse - ER/OR - Permanent Full-time

KDH recently expanded its Emergency, Surgical and Diagnostic programs with a $23M redevelopment project.

In addition to having a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and excellent communication skills (verbal & written), the successful candidates will have the following skills and qualifications:

RN (ER/OR)

• Current BCLS, ACLS & TNCC Certificates;
• Operating Room Certificate;
• Recent Operating Room experience – 3 to 5 years;
• Basic Arrhythmia interpretation course;
• Emergency Nursing Certificate (preferred);
• Critical Care Course(s) or Recovery Room education (preferred);
• Current Emergency Room Experience or other comparable Critical Care experience;
• Recovery Room or Intensive Care Unit (3-5 yrs preferred);
• Endoscopy experience (an asset);
• Current membership in professional association (preferred)

Shifts:

• Rotation - days, evenings, nights and weekends; 8 and 12 hour shifts. May include on-call.
