KDH FOUNDATION TRANSFERS $200,000 TO HOSPITAL

Kemptville, ON, March 30, 2007 – Board members of the
Kemptville District Hospital Foundation recently announced the
annual contribution to the Hospital. This year the Foundation
provided $200,000 in funding that will be used to purchase
surgical equipment needed to provide quality health care for our
community. Tom Mesman, Foundation President shared his thoughts
about the past year. “These are exciting times for our hospital
and this past year our donors and supporters have really stepped
up and helped where the need was greatest. I’m proud to live in
a community that supports its hospital.” He added, “As our
communities grow and our hospital gets busier each individuals
ongoing support is vital”
Foundation Board members include: Tom Mesman, President; John
Curtis, Past President; Marilyn Seymour, Doug Hughes, Allister
Brown, Lis Angus, William Forbes, Beulah Legate, Steve Thibert
and Colin Goodfellow, CEO of the Hospital.
