KDH Receives $10,000 from Scotiabank
For immediate Release – May 18, 2007
Kemptville, ON, May 18, 2007 - The Kemptville District
Hospital Foundation was pleased to accept the most recent pledge
payment of $10,000 from Scotiabank in Kemptville as part of
their commitment towards the redevelopment of the Hospital.
The Hospital kicked off the redevelopment project in 2004 with
the Lean on Me Campaign that realized incredible support from
the community raising more than $5 million. When completed, the
new Emergency, Diagnostic Imaging and Operating Departments will
be relocated to a building with 38,000 square feet of new space.
The new design will offer a dramatically improved functionality
and increased efficiency and comfort for the patients and staff.
The new construction will also enable the hospital to acquire
the latest technology and equipment for the Emergency, Operating
and Diagnostic Departments.
Branch Manager Brenda Hill believes this project is important
for the community and it’s for that reason she and her team
continues to be a valued supporter of the Kemptville District
Hospital.
