Dermid grew up in St. Andrew's West, just north of Cornwall and has lived in Kemptville for many years. Volunteering and giving back to the community is a major part of Dermid's life. In addition to his Hospital work, Dermid serves in the following ways: as a Board Member of the Grenville Community Futures Development Corporation, a Member of Knights of Columbus Council; President of the Mountain and District Lions Club, Member of the Holy Cross Property & Finance Committee and Capital Campaign and Member of the Kemptville Economic Development Committee.
He and his wife Donna Lee founded O'Farrell Financial Services in 1997. Since its inception, the company has grown steadily each year and moved into new facilities on County Road 44 just north of 43. Dermid has been a supporter of the Foundation through such activities as the Lean on Me Campaign, Lean on the Throttle and the Gala.
Dermid and Donna Lee are proud parents of three daughters Marnie, Erin and Cassie. |

Colin Goodfellow joined the hospital as CEO in spring 2005. He possesses organizational and change leadership experience in both public and private sectors. Recent experience includes leading a life science commercialization consultancy and leading a national campaign for the creation of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. (CIHR). He served as Vice President for strategy and operational performance at the Toronto East General Hospital.
Colin has an MBA from Queens University and is a certified management accountant. |

Mr. Allister Brown, Director |

Allister Brown grew up on the family dairy farm in Cornwall and obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from the University of New Hampshire while on a hockey scholarship. He worked for CIBC Corporate Real Estate Division in Toronto prior to moving to Kemptville in 1993 to work with his brother Grant at the Grant Brown Funeral Home. He obtained his Insurance Brokers License in 2004 and purchased Patterson Hadden & Brown Insurance Brokers in August 2007. In addition to the Kemptville District Hospital Foundation Board, Allister is also a Director of the Spencerville Agricultural Society, has operated Upper Canada Hockey Academy and is a minor hockey Coach.
Allister and his wife live in Kemptville. His children, Chelsea and Cody, also reside and work in the North Grenville community. Chelsea is with Lockwood Brothers Construction and Cody is an Electrical Apprentice. |

Mrs. Bev Carson, Auxiliary President |

Bev grew up in Salmon Arm, B.C. and lived in Vancouver for 10 years before moving to Ottawa in 1978. Bev started working with the RCMP in 1976, responsible for admin and finance mainly in the Technical and Protective Directorates. Bev and her husband Colin moved to Kemptville in 1984. On retirement in 2006, Bev decided it was time to get involved in the community, she joined the hospital auxiliary and became a volunteer in the hospital. In May, 2007 she was appointed as 2nd Vice President of the Auxiliary, and in 2008 elected as 1st Vice President then as President in 2010. |

Mr. William Forbes, Director |

Bill Forbes has lived in North Grenville all his life. He attended Kemptville Public School, North Grenville District High School and graduated from the University of Western Ontario. Bill is an Independent Financial Advisor as well as Part Owner and CEO of Lahaie Auto Sales and Service.
For almost 15 years, Bill has coached competitive softball and basketball in and around Kemptville. He is currently a member of the Masonic Lodge, and volunteer and director for Kemptville Home Support. |

Jim is happily married to his beautiful wife Cathy and they are blessed to have a 15 year old son, Andrew. They have lived in Kemptville for 15 years. Jim and his wife have enjoyed being involved in their church and community for many years with many different organizations and causes. During the 9 to 5 hours, he owns Solution One Financial Inc. on Clothier St. in Kemptville. |

Mr. Kerry Carnegie, Director |

Kerry Carnegie was born and raised on a dairy farm in Renfrew County near Pembroke. After graduating from Kemptville College and the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Animal Science, he returned to Pembroke and purchased the family farms which he, his wife Linda and three children (Shawn, Kyle and Amber) operated as a beef cow/calf operation until 1984. During this time, he served as President of the Renfrew County Cattleman and local Director for the Renfrew Federation of Agriculture.
In 1984, Kerry joined the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and in 1989, he became the Agricultural Representative for Ottawa-Carleton. He later served as the Regional Information Coordinator in the Ministry's Kemptville Resource Centre, where he was responsible for the City of Ottawa and the counties of Renfrew, Lanark, Leeds, Grenville and Frontenac.
Kerry retired from the Ministry in March 2008 after 26 years of service and currently resides in Kemptville. |

Mr. Hugh O'Neill, Director |

Hugh O'Neill is a Senior Client Relationship Manager, Agriculture, at the Kemptville Branch of Scotiabank. With over 15 years experience at Scotiabank, he holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Guelph as well as a certificate in Agribusiness Marketing Management II & Strategic Planning. He also holds a Personal Financial Planner designation from the Institute of Canadian Bankers and is a member of the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors.
Hugh is involved in the local community, through the Grenville 4-H Leaders Association as a leader of the 4-H Dairy Calf Club, Soil and Crop Improvement Association and was previously involved with the "Lean on Me" fundraising campaign for the Kemptville District Hospital Foundation. |

Mary Boucher is the Development Officer for the Kemptville District Hospital Foundation. Mary has an extensive background in Special Events Management and Administration and she has enjoyed working with the KDHF for the pas 6 years. Mary and her family have lived in the area for over 30 years.
