November 22nd, 2004: KDH working with the community to improve accessibility
In response to the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Kemptville District Hospital has recently completed its second Accessibility Work Plan for 2004-05. The plan recommends a number of initiatives to make the hospital more accessible to members of the public with disabilities.
September 23rd, 2004: North Grenville Community welcomes Dr. Gordon Burton
"Community is what a family physician is all about," says Dr. Gordon Burton.
A resident of Kemptville for two years, Dr. Burton very recently established a practice in family medicine in the community. Dr. Burton has joined the Family Medicine clinic at 215 Van Buren Street to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Dr. D.H. Jones.
August 26th, 2004: Education key to living with diabetes
The Diabetes Education Program is offered to all people who have diabetes or are living with someone who has diabetes. The program is now provided 10 months per year at the Kemptville District Hospital.

"Medical Laboratory Science - The Science of Your Life" is the theme for a national campaign launched by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) during National Medical Laboratory Week, April 19 to 23, 2004.
March 2nd, 2004: Grant helps fund bed replacement at KDH
Kemptville District Hospital will replace 15 outdated beds thanks to a special $200,000 provincial grant announced recently.
February 11th, 2004: KDH rates excellent in all categories, report notes 'high level of satisfaction'
Kemptville District Hospital is among the highest ranked hospitals in the country. This was the result of a year-long process, called accreditation, that concluded in November of last year.
