Kemptville District Hospital (KDH) Staff and Board members enjoyed a farewell tea for Chris Must, the Hospital’s Director of Communications.
Chris Must is leaving his role as Director of Communications at KDH to return to school. Over the last few years, Chris played a key role in the successful “Lean on Me” fundraising campaign and in keeping the public aware of the program expansions and changes at the Hospital.
KDH CEO Colin Goodfellow gave a brief summary of many of Chris’s accomplishments in his role: “Chris is a complete communications professional who is leaving at the top of his game.” Goodfellow added, “It’s hard to thank him enough.” The Hospital Board Chair Dale Kirkpatrick made a special effort to be at the event and complimented Chris for his outstanding dedication to the hospital: “Chris has put in long hours making sure that the hospital is well represented at many community events.” Kirkpatrick added his thanks and observed that, “it is truly impressive to recall all of what Chris has done for KDH in the community.”
Chris, in saying his goodbyes, thanked the people who attended the event and said, “When you’re talking about a hospital as good as Kemptville with such caring staff and tremendously supportive community it is a privilege to be the guy whose job it is to get the word out”. Must also served as Executive Director of the KDH Foundation and has left that role as well.
