New building over 55% complete!

The addition of a new emergency, diagnostic imaging and surgical suites at the Kemptville District Hospital has been progressing well this past winter.  Some recent construction milestones include the installation of the metal siding, the stud framing is complete on the first floor and the stairs are installed. The construction continues inside the existing hospital to prepare for the connections from the old building to the new building. The OR and DI equipment has been tendered and such things as the signage, colors and furniture will be selected in the near future.

When visiting the hospital, please respect the signs and hoarding that indicates the construction zones. Parking can be found near the emergency department, behind the health center or on the upper level parking near the Health Unit.
