At the Kemptville District Hospital emergency department, you can expect to see the triage nurse within 5 minutes.

The current ER wait time is how soon you will be seen by the physician after you are triaged by the nurse.

ER wait times can change quickly depending on the urgency of patients that arrive. Patients are seen in order of need with more critical patients being seen immediately.

If you are having chest pain or difficulty breathing, please present to the ER department immediately.

If you are coming to the ER please bring your current medications (prescription vials not dossettes) including non-prescription medications (herbals, vitamins and other ‘over the counter’ medications) and your OHIP card.
