Ms. Linda Carnegie

President, KDH Auxiliary

Linda Carnegie joined the KDH Board of Directors as an ex-officio member in June, 2020 as the newly elected President of the KDH Auxiliary. Hailing from the Kemptville area, Ms. Carnegie is an alumna of Kemptville College whose career spanned 40 years in the healthcare industry, in both administrative and clinical roles.  A Certified Nutrition Manager (CNM) and Credentialed Foodservice Executive (CFE), she spent most of her career with The Royal Ottawa Health Care Group, retiring in 2012 from The Ottawa Hospital.  Over the years Ms. Carnegie worked in Mental Health, Corrections, Education, Active Treatment, Rehabilitation and Long Term Care settings. Her involvement on a national level with professional organizations provided numerous opportunities to be involved in Certification and Accreditation hospital reviews. She has been volunteering at KDH as a member of the Auxiliary for eight years, initially in the Interim Long-Term Care unit and more recently in the ER. Ms. Carnegie’s goal in retirement is to give back to her community.
