Environmental Services Technicians – Part-Time and Casual
KDH is seeking Environmental Services Technicians to join the team on a part-time and casual basis. In addition to the Hospital’s requirements for commitment to the Mission and Philosophy of Care the following are requirements for this position.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma preferred (minimum Grade 10 required);
- Previous job related experience a definite asset;
- Must be able to meet the Physical/Mental/Visual demands of the position as detailed in the job description;
- Good attendance and work performance required.
Shifts:
Must be available and willing to work morning, day, evening, and night shifts
Must be available and willing to do project work
Starting Wage: $22.68/hr
Please note: In order to work in a healthcare facility, the Public Hospitals Act 1990, Regulation 965 requires all employees to provide proof of up-to-date immunization/vaccines for the following diseases: Tuberculin Skin Testing (TB), Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Diphtheria (DTap), Influenza (during flu season) and three COVID shots. This proof must be provided to our Occupational Health Office in order to be cleared to work.
