KDH is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our team on a Casual basis. In addition to the Hospital’s requirements for commitment to the Mission and Philosophy of Care, the following are requirements for this position.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physiotherapy at the baccalaureate level.
  • Must be licensed by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and follow its rules of conduct and code of ethics.
  • Current CPR certificate.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience (in a hospital setting preferred).
  • Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and be proficient in the use of the computer.

Starting Wage:

$38.83/hour or past experience recognition as per Article 25.02 of the OPSEU Central Agreement

Please note: In order to work in a healthcare facility, the Public Hospitals Act 1990, Regulation 965 requires all employees to provide proof of up-to-date immunization/vaccines for the following diseases: Tuberculin Skin Testing (TB), Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Diphtheria (DTap), Influenza (during flu season) and three COVID shots. This proof must be provided to our Occupational Health Office in order to be cleared to work.
