Kemptville District Hospital is seeking a Manager of Pharmacy Services to join our growing team, on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University;
  • Licensed with the College of Pharmacists of Ontario;
  • Recent leadership/management experience in a hospital setting (within the last 3 years);
  • 5 years hospital pharmacy experience;
  • Experience leading quality improvement initiatives;
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal conflict resolution by practicing active listening and respectful communication skills;
  • Proven facilitation, planning, collaboration, execution and leadership skills;
  • Ability to gain support and commitment from team members and direct reports and work towards a common goal;
  • Ability to understand the key relationships, diverse interest groups within his/her own department(s) and the organization;
  • Experience in providing quality, patient-centred care and mentoring staff to achieve and deliver the same;
  • Demonstrates critical thinking – ability to understand business implications of functioning of one’s department(s) and organization;
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Anzer.
