Went to KDH for a mammogram today. So very impressed at the way things were handled when I arrived. Pertinent questions and screening. Very professional. Felt safe and secure. Kudos to all the staff there! Highly recommend you folks as always.”

I’m a full-time emergency room nurse. I triage and assess patients that come to the emergency room. I also provide treatment and teaching to patients and their families.
Patient interaction, camaraderie with fellow nurses/medical staff and the impact we have on patients and their families gives me the most job satisfaction.
I chose KDH in May 1989 because I wasn’t interested in working in the city. I find working at KDH we all know each other and we are like family. We all help each other during good and bad times.
I believe being a good communicator, maintaining a sense of humor, and being a caring person are very important in my job.
