Gift Shop & Coffee Bar

Our Gift Shop & Coffee Bar is located on the lower level of the hospital, near the main entrance and the Emergency Department. It is open each weekday from 9 am to 4 pm.

The Coffee Bar offers a variety of fresh, healthy foods, including soups, sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit, muffins, yogurt, and beverages including coffee, tea and juices.

The Gift Shop is made up of three areas: the gift shop itself, which sells new items including jewelry, purses, scarves, giftware and ornaments; an area called Second Hand Rose, which sells donations of knitted goods and gently used items such as jewelry, ornaments and puzzles; and a bookcase, selling donated paperback and hardcover books.  Donations can be dropped off at the gift shop Monday to Friday between 9 am and 4 pm.

The Coffee Bar and Gift Shop is operated by the Kemptville District Hospital Auxiliary. Learn more about our Auxiliary volunteers.

“I’d like to share about the beautiful experience I had in your ER last week. To begin, the woman at the COVID screening station was so kind and understanding. She even allowed my five-year-old and myself to sit outside for our lunch, so I could give him some fresh air and room to move around. Our time with Dr Brisebois was possibly the best experience I’ve ever had with a physician. He was so kind and patient. He listened to my concerns as a parent. He validated our experience and shared plenty of information, and was just a rare gem in the medical field.”
