The work we do sterilizing and organizing medical devices has a positive impact on patients.

Pam,Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) Technician

“During a period of transition, I was looking for a new career and a friend of mine mentioned the Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) program. It really appealed to me because I would get to work in healthcare and contribute to patient safety behind the scenes.

This job is perfect because I enjoy helping people, but prefer to stay in the background. Working in MDR involves a lot of multi-tasking, especially in a smaller hospital where you have a wide variety of responsibilities. The work we do sterilizing and organizing medical devices has a positive impact on patients; it’s nice being part of a system that provides quality care.”
