“My mom is a registered nurse and she inspired me to go into health care. I was working to become an electrician, but it wasn’t for me, and she suggested that I go back to school.
I didn’t know what I wanted to do, so my mom encouraged me to try nursing. After doing one shift in an Emergency Room, I realized how much I enjoyed the acute care side of nursing.
