We’re hitting pause on ‘Healthcare with Heart’ as we head into fall, and will start the campaign back up in the spring. We look forward to highlighting more members of Team KDH in 2026!
Kemptville District Hospital created the ‘Healthcare with Heart’ campaign to showcase our wonderful health care workers, and bolster recruitment efforts!‘Healthcare with Heart’ features members of Team KDH – from all departments – talking about why they work in health care. These personal stories aim to strengthen the connection between our staff and patients, by highlighting what is at the heart of our hospital: people. The weekly posts will be shared on our website, and through KDH’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn). “I am writing this email in regards to my recent shoulder surgery experience. I would like to inform you that you should be very proud of the great team you have formulated; from the screening person to the surgical day nurses, the anesthetist and surgeon, everyone was outstanding. All your staff should be given accolades for their outstanding care and professionalism. The ability of that staff to perform their duties under the duress of the pandemic is one thing, but to provide this level of care should not go unnoticed and I thank each of them for making my brief stay as comfortable and positive as possible. Thank you all for your efforts and keep up the great work; we all appreciate it!”
