Brittany Rivard, CPA, CA, is an accomplished operations leader who joined KDH in 2022, bringing 12 years of progressive experience in a number of industries, with a focus on healthcare and accounting.

Brittany’s areas of expertise include process streamlining, continuous quality improvement, data and business analysis, organizational strategy, and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining KDH, Brittany served as Associate Director, Clinical Operations for the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto. Previously, she served at the Hospital For Sick Children in Toronto in a number of roles, concluding her time there as Director, Clinical Funding Strategy.

Brittany is passionate about ensuring that small hospitals like KDH are included in future-focused conversations and are able to leverage technology and Artificial Intelligence to deliver excellent patient care. Recent speaking engagements on this topic include participating as part of the panel on the “Future of Healthcare – Where Are We Going?” at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Eastern Canada Chapter’s Digital Health Innovation Conference in Toronto in November 2023.

Brittany earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business after beginning her undergraduate degree in Honours Health Sciences at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. She holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
